Summer is around the corner ✨☀️ Which means kiddos will be extra hungry for fun snacks. Here are some classic ones, that were sure to keep any kid smiling big!
1. Frozen Fruit 🍉 🍇🍓 This is a perfect sweet treat on a hot summer day! The kids love it because it provides the sugar that they crave but moms love it because it is a healthy alternative.
2. Veggies with favorite dressing 🥕🥦 Sometimes presentation makes the world of difference. If you cut up veggies in slices and put them in a cute cup with dressing at the bottom, kids will gobble it up!
3. Smoothies🥤At times a drink is better than food. And this is a perfect opportunity to put in as many fruits and (even veggies) as you can. Slap a cute straw and the kids will be all for it.
4. Homemade popsicles 🍦 You don't need to go buy fancy molds (although those are nice too) but you can fill up any plastic cup with your favorite fruit slush-pop them in the freezer then have them on a special day.
5. Homemade granola bars 🍫 by mixing oats and 1/3 cup of honey plus any favorite ingredient, you can make the perfect homemade granola bar. Put them in the oven for 8 min at 350 degrees. When they come out you can cut them. These granola bars make the perfect snack for on the go!!

1. Exercise! 💪 Moving your body for 20-30 min a day really works miracles. When we exercise our body produces good -hormones like endorphins, which can help with feeling less stressed.
2. Hangout with friends ♥️👯‍♀️ At times, when we are feeling overwhelmed all we need to do is call a friend and grab lunch with them. Venting out to those that are closest to us, can really help relieve some of the burdens that we carry on our shoulders. And we are always better when we are together. 
3. Organize!! 📝 Stress can be at its highest when tasks come crawling in, or deadlines need to be met. Having some time management skills or writing a to-do list can really help you focus to make sure tasks are completed 
4. Breathe. 🙌 Anxiety and stress can really take a toll on how you breath. Give yourself a few minutes a day to practice on your inhales and exhales. This will allow you to relax your muscles and calm your mind.
5. Meditate 🧘‍♀️ It has been scientifically been proven that practicing mindfulness, relaxation or meditation can decrease and manage stress. And now there are so many different platforms that offer help--it could be worth a try ✨

1. Eat your veggies & fruit. We all know that keeping a well balanced diet is the key to a longer life. But at times we need a reminder to push us in the right direction. Incorporate as much color to your dish to get a variety of nutrients and vitamins that we need. 
2. Move it! That's your body that is. It is not necessary to workout to the point of extreme exhaustion. In fact some studies show that, it can cause more harm than good. Simply by moving our body, our brain registers this and we instantly feel better.
3. Lather up with Sunscreen. About 1/3 of a teaspoon of SPF 30-50 is the recommended amount. And really should be applied even if inside and several times when outside. It's a lot, but no body wants leather skin.
4. Drink up--Water that is! Replenishing you body throughout the day is crucial. Recommended amount is half your weight in ounces. At times we may think we are hungry, but really we are thirsty! Drink a glass of water before munching on food.
5. Sleep it off. Getting at least 7 hours of sleep really makes a difference. When wake up with a clear mind, energized and ready to take the day.
