palmpalm is always looking for ways to help the community as people are at the center of everything we do and who we do it for. We wouldn’t be where we are now without the love of everyone who has supported us thus far. That’s why we like to give back and support others who are making a positive impact in our community and across the country.
So, we were very excited to partner with America’s Kids Belong last month when they came to Los Angeles. America’s Kids Belong is an organization that mobilizes leaders in the business, government, creative, and faith-based industries to help end the crisis for children in foster care – state by state. Through its innovative approaches and mindset, the company makes sure that every child has a loving home and that every child reaches their full potential.
Currently in ten states, America’s Kids Belong just got approved to expand their program to California as well. The team here at palmpalm provided travel size hand sanitizers and hand sanitizer wipes for their first shoot in Los Angeles for their “I Belong Project”, which is a project started by America’s Kids Belong that helps give foster children a face and a voice!
We wanted to provide supplies that would help protect everyone involved in the event, but would also allow the kids to have fun in a safe environment. Our products have been named the best hand sanitizer and wipes by both Business Insider and Forbes, having been reviewed by experts in the healthcare industry. So, we wanted to provide nothing but the best for those who are the future of our country. And don’t worry, our sanitizers are safe for kids!
In California, there are about 60,000 children between the ages of 0 to 21 who are currently living in foster care. When children reach the age of 18, they “age-out” of the system. This, unfortunately makes them more likely to experience homelessness, unemployment, and other negative outcomes. Each and every one of these children deserve a supportive and loving forever family where they feel they belong. America’s Kids Belong is on a mission to achieve exactly that.
America’s Kids Belong has a sister organization called Dream Makers. They help children who age out of the foster care system. Feel free to learn more about their activities and vision to continue helping our youth.
We encourage every one to check out America’s Kids Belong. Support their mission of securing permanency and belonging for every child!
